How to unlock Resurrección

Resurrección comes with becoming an Arrancar. Evolve your Hollow to Vasto Lorde, lock in your Traits (they become permanent), then press L to transform — see the Arrancar guide. Your Traits and Resurrección ability only activate in the released form.

What each Resurrección does

Resurrección is the Arrancar equivalent of a Shinigami's Shikai — releasing your sealed power into a transformed combat form. Each of the six confirmed Resurrección gives a distinct theme and moveset:

• Los Lobos — twin-pistol projectile pressure with strong ranged output.
• Shark — aggressive close-range bruiser with high burst.
• Fury — a raw damage-focused release built around overwhelming offense.
• Electro — lightning-based attacks with stun potential.
• Luminosity — light-themed kit with control tools.
• Frozen Haze — ice attacks that slow and lock down targets.

Your Hollow Traits only activate inside Resurrección, so build your trait loadout around how your release wants to fight — Cero-focused releases love Tailbone, while melee releases want Iron Skin and Deadly Claws.

Resurrección vs Shikai vs Schrift

All three factions cap out at a released form for now. Shinigami unlock Shikai, Quincy unlock Schrift + Letzt Stil, and Hollow unlock Resurrección as an Arrancar. None of them have a second-stage release yet — Bankai, Vollständig and Segunda Etapa are all unimplemented as of June 2026. That makes your clan, traits and Spirit Charms the biggest levers on your power once you have your release.

Reaching Resurrección faster

Resurrección only comes after a long Hollow grind, so farm it efficiently. Climb the evolution chain in order — eat Hollows to hit Menos, destroy objects and kill Hollows for Adjuchas, then defeat players and enemies to reach Vasto Lorde. Do not press L to become an Arrancar until you're at Vasto Lorde with your four traits locked, because the transform resets your base stats and seals your traits permanently. Roll an S-tier Cifer clan first — it extends Resurrección duration, directly increasing your power-window uptime. The full transform walkthrough is on the Arrancar page.

Building around your Resurrección

Your Resurrección defines how your Arrancar fights, so build to match it. Cero-leaning releases want a Kido-primary stat spread and aim-helping traits like Tailbone, while melee releases lean on the Hakuda tree with Iron Skin and Deadly Claws. Across the board, keep a strong Reserves pool — Cero, Bala and your release abilities all drain it fast, and a release with no resources is dead weight.

Uptime is everything. Your traits and Resurrección ability only switch on while you're released, so anything that extends that window is gold: traits such as Dense Muscles and Back Scales add duration, and the S-tier Cifer clan stretches it further (+20% longer Resurrección).
