VV ULTIMATUM Skill Tree Guide
The current skill menu is organized around five universal trees — Hakuda, Sens, Strength, Speed and Misc — plus a Race tree. Open the tree with M, earn skill points through normal progression, and choose a combat plan before spending across multiple branches.
Current VV ULTIMATUM skill trees at a glance
| Tree | What it focuses on | Use it when... |
|---|---|---|
| Hakuda | Martial arts, melee skills and fist-based combat. | Your build wins through close-range pressure and hand-to-hand damage. |
| Sens | Sensing and tracking other entities. | You value awareness and information rather than another damage branch. |
| Strength | Physical power and fighting abilities for fists or weapons. | Your plan centers on weapon pressure, posture damage or heavier physical hits. |
| Speed | Dexterity, evasion, movement and fast-paced attacks. | You need better spacing, chase, escape or mobility around your main damage plan. |
| Misc | Utility skills across movement, aura, evasion and other support functions. | You need a specific utility node rather than a second full damage identity. |
| Race | Abilities unique to your current race or faction route. | You want powers that only your Shinigami, Quincy, Hollow/Arrancar or other race route can access. |
Build points: how to spend skill points without wasting a route
Skill points come from progression such as quests, missions and leveling, and current public references note that skill costs grow as you allocate more points. That makes early focus more valuable than buying every attractive node.
| Your goal | Start by checking | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Close-range melee | Hakuda + enough Speed/utility to stay on target | Build around one pressure plan instead of mixing several unrelated damage paths. |
| Weapon-heavy physical build | Strength + movement support | Strength is the clearer current tree for physical weapon pressure. |
| Mobility / chase / escape | Speed | Speed directly serves dexterity, evasion and fast movement tasks. |
| Race-specific powers | Race tree | Check your faction route before spending points that only make sense for another race. |
| Tracking / awareness | Sens | Use it when sensing solves a real problem for your route instead of treating every tree as mandatory. |
| Utility gap | Misc | Buy the movement, aura or evasion utility you actually need, then return to the main build. |
Speed branches and skill-tree prerequisites
One of the actual search questions around this game is whether two Speed branches can be taken at the same time. Do not treat that as a universal yes/no rule: the safe check is the live prerequisite lines, node requirements and total SP cost for the exact branch pair you want.
| Question | Safe answer |
|---|---|
| Where do I get skill points? | Normal progression: quests, missions and leveling are current documented sources. |
| How do I open the skill tree? | Current public references document M as the skill-tree key on PC. |
| Can I take two Speed branches? | Check the connectors, prerequisite nodes and total cost in your live tree before buying. Public sources do not establish one rule that covers every branch combination. |
| Why is a node not available? | First verify its prerequisite path, point cost and race requirement. If those are satisfied but the node still will not unlock, treat it as a live-patch/UI issue rather than guessing a hidden requirement. |
Hakuda fighting styles are separate from the Hakuda tree
Current search demand around Hakuda is not only about tree nodes. Players also search for Hakuda fighting styles, style locations and the best Hakuda build. Current guides distinguish those styles from the Hakuda skill tree: investing in the tree does not mean you automatically unlocked a fighting style.
Hakuda skill tree
The menu path for martial-arts progression, melee abilities and fist-focused investment.
Hakuda fighting styles
Separate training/unlock paths used to change how Hakuda combat plays. Current search results include Boxing, Karate, Muay Thai and Wrestling queries; verify the live trainer and requirement before committing because style availability can change by patch.
For ranking-style decisions, use the Tier List; this page stays focused on the current tree structure and build-routing questions.
VV ULTIMATUM skill tree FAQ
What are the skill trees in VV ULTIMATUM?
Current public skill-tree references show five universal trees — Hakuda, Sens, Strength, Speed and Misc — plus a Race-specific tree.
How do you get skill points in VV ULTIMATUM?
Skill points come from progression such as quests, missions and leveling. Costs increase as you invest, so plan the build before buying every available node.
Is Kido a universal skill tree?
Current skill-menu references do not list Kido as one of the five universal tree labels. Kido still appears in builds, stats and skill requirements, so treat it as a build concept/requirement rather than a top-level universal menu category.
Can you take two branches of the Speed tree?
Do not assume every branch pair is compatible. Check the live prerequisite connectors, node requirements and total skill-point cost for the exact branches you want; the current public sources do not establish one universal yes-or-no rule.
Are Hakuda fighting styles the same as the Hakuda skill tree?
No. Current guides distinguish fighting styles from the Hakuda tree. The tree handles Hakuda progression and abilities; fighting styles are separate unlock or training paths.
